I adore color! In my artwork, I am continually driven to emulate the vivid hues found in nature. The endless inspiration from nature's creations allows me to blend realism with a touch of whimsy, providing a distinctive view of our world.
My creativity has taken me in many directions; watercolors, acrylic paint poured sea and landscapes, enameled copper jewelry and presently handmade ceramic tiles for mosaics.
Watercolors,
I have nearly 500 paintings online they are all available as prints, cards, T-shirts, mugs and various other merchandise.
Enameled Jewelry
Enameling is the process of fusing layers of powdered glass to copper at a high enough temperature to melt the glass. I make a large portion of my work from repurposed old copper pennies or recycled sheet copper.
MOSAICS
Starting with a lump of clay I personally create all of the ceramic tiles that I then incorporate into my mosaic designs. I may follow a general theme when making a "hex" sign or a table top but no two are exactly alike.
When I first saw poured acrylic artwork I was fascinated. Most of the works I saw were wildly abstract single pours. It struck me that by combining several pours that I could create unique land or seascapes. After hours of watching videos & using gallons of paint I finally began to see the results I was seeking, controlling the uncontrollable & I'm loving it.
.
For many years I sold note and birthday cards at the art shows I participated in. We printed these cards "in house" and they were very popular. Unfortunately our printer kinda died and it wasn't practical to replace it. "GOOD NEWS" all of the cards are still available. The cards are printed on demand and you can even customize them.
